Pisgah Mountain Stage

Competition is heating up in the Pisgah Mountain Stage. The Monavie-Cannondale team is well represented with Jeremiah Bishop, Tinker Juarez and Ben Sonntag all registered as riders. East Coaster Harlan Price with Independent Fabrications signed up early. Max Knox from team DCM ENERGY in South Africa and his team manager Ian Gerrit Van Der Walt also signed up recently. We've got riders coming from Guatemala too! Looks like it's turning into an international mountain biking event. When's the last time you raced with cyclists coming from out of the country to race? Dave Wiens also mentioned the race in his blog the other day. Is he coming too? Other names mentioned in the rumor mill have been Kris Sheppard, Kelly Emmett, and Rebecca Rusch.

Watch the Race

Watch a recap of how it all went down at the ORAMM via their Champion Chip GPS tracking device. Hit play then the forward button to 60x to watch riders' icons move around the course. Remember, this is still in the testing phase. Some of the riders had technical issues with their GPS devices and distance/speed information is not accurate. For reference: The sportrack Tracker was a support vehicle.
